SUZANNE CARRICO'S WHAT CHRISTMAS MEANS TO ME

The first time I heard Suzanne Carrico sing I was instantly struck by her magnificent vocals. So much so that I decided, by her third song, to invite her to take part in my very next CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE show. It was her debut, but within days all of NY was singing her praises!

I had a similar experience when I began listening to the first track on her debut CD "WHAT CHRISTMAS TIME MEANS TO ME" Once again her unique vocals were captivating.Suzanne, along with her co-producer Booth Daniels and associate producer, arranger and musical director Don Rebic have given us a Christmas-time treasure meant for listening - year after year.

The timeless song list is packed with favorite gems for the season, and each served with refreshing new wrapping of creativity and glistening with ribbons and sparkle. I listened to this CD in two surroundings. First at home when I first loaded it into iTunes on my computer and the second time while walking down a very busy Roosevelt Avenue, Jackson Heights, on Black Friday, as folks scurried by seeking Christmas gift bargains (and probably forgetting the meaning of the event that inspired this gift-giving holiday). Each time all around me took on a holiday atmosphere!

This is a "listener's CD" - you can hit the repeat button as many times as you wish and never get tired of the music!My favorite song? "Some Children See Him" (goose bumps every time I play it). My favorite track? A duet/medley of "Baby It's Cold Outside"/"Let It Snow" featuring Suzanne and guest artist Booth Daniels.

This CD will be officially released on Thursday, December 2nd at 9:30 pm at Suzanne's CD RELEASE SHOW at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440) (Champagne reception to follow).
