at THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATER. At Last is an introspective,

classics brilliantly arranged by musical director Barry Levitt and

KELLEY STEWART SINGS OF HER "HEART'S DESIRE" Cabaret
performer Maureen Kelley Stewart will appear in September at the
THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATER for three performances
of her newest show, "Heart's Desire." The show will play on Sundays,
September 16th & 23rd at 2:00 pm and Thursday, September 20th at
7:00 pm. The show is a collection of Broadway classics, standards
from the Great American Songbook, and contemporary pop songs. "Heart's
Desire" is directed by Eric Michael Gillett with Musical Direction/Arrangements

GIVES LOVE A SPIN AT B & N ON SEPTEMBER 5TH Any
Wednesday celebrates the best in jazz, cabaret and theater performers
by inviting Milla Ilieva to celebrate the release of her debut CD
"Taking A Chance On Love" on Bruce Kimmel's Kritzerland label in
the spacious third floor events space at the THE BARNES & NOBLE
BOOKSTOR on Wednesday, September 5th. Milla's performance, with
Paul Trueblood at the piano, begins at 6:00 pm and lasts approximately
a half hour. The show is followed by a CD signing/meet-and-greet

Francisco based singer Linda Kosut brings the music, lyrics and

songs drawn from her acclaimed cabaret tribute to Brown's music
that Kosut has been performing for the past year, Long as You're
Living is a heartfelt expression of the admiration the singer has
felt for the iconic African American musician since she first heard

JAZZ FAURE PROJECT: FRENCH IMPRESSIONISM MEETS AMERICAN JAZZTHE HOTHOUSE CENTER FOR INTERNATIONAL PERFORMANCE
AND EXHIBITION presents the greatly anticipated CD release concert
of The Jazz Faure Project: au bord de l'eau, on Wednesday, March
21st at 7:30 pm. The hit songs of 19th century French composer Gabriel
Faure are being given the velvet treatment-from swing to bossa,
wistful ballad to blues. Seventeen masterpieces have been arranged
by Dennis Luxion and Bobby Schiff for 21st century jazz quartet
and two singers.

PARTY CELEBRATES DROWSY CHAPERONE LP RELEASE AT BIRDLANDOn
Monday, March 5th at 9:30 pm, Jim Caruso's Cast Party will be celebrating
the release of the limited edition, vinyl 33 RPM long-playing record
of the Grammy-nominated original cast recording of the five-time
Tony-winning hit musical The Drowsy Chaperone at BIRDLAND. Many
cast and crew members are scheduled to be in attendance, including
Tony-winning book writer and star Bob Martin and Tony-winning composer
Lisa Lambert. There will be a very special copy of the LP given

JUST WON'T WAIT CD RELEASE CONTINUES
The next step in the unfolding of Scot Albertson's
second CD, "Fate Just Won't Wait" takes place at THE TRIAD on Friday,
March 16th at 7:00 pmm. The show features Scot Albertson and the
Daryl Kojak Jazz Quintet, with Sean Conly on bass, Anthony Pinciotti
on drums, Scott Wendholt on trumpet, and "Sweet" Sue Terry on sax
and flute. This performance will be a continuation of the public
release of Scot's newest CD and it will also unveil three new songs
