SAN FRANCISCO: HELP IS ON THE WAY: BLAME IT ON THE MOVIES

The Richmond/Ermet Aids Foundation (http://www.reaf.org/ ) presents Northern California's Largest Annual, Star-studded Gala Concert HELP IS ON THE WAY XIV: BLAME IT ON THE MOVIES on Sunday, August 3rd at PALACE OF FINE ARTS (3301 Lyon Street, San Francisco, CA - TKTS: 415-273-1620 - http://www.palaceoffinearts.org/ ) benefiting five Bay Area AIDS Service Organizations. This year's all-star benefit concert features celebrities from Broadway, TV and Film to American Idol stars.

It's jazz, pop and live performance up close and personal from some of your favorite performers including Ricki Lake, Maureen McGovern, Rita Moreno, Marilu Henner, Jai Rodriguez, Kimberley Locke, Constantine Maroulis, Bruce Vilanch, Paula West and many more. Producers are Joe Seiler & Ken Henderson. Director is David Galligan. Musical Directors are Michael Orland (American Idol, Celebrity Duets) and Mary Ekler. The 5 Bay Area AIDS Service Agencies that are the beneficiaries this year include: Aguilas; Larkin Street Youth Services; Meals of Marin; Positive Resource Center and Vital Life Services, Oakland. Tickets are $50 - $250.

HELP IS ON THE WAY XIV is produced by The Richmond/Ermet AIDS Foundation, founded by Barbara Richmond and the late Peggy Ermet in memory of their sons, John Richmond and Doug Ermet, who both lost their lives to AIDS. In 1995 The two women decided not to get mad but get even when they launched a musical AIDS benefit to honor their sons by raising funds for AIDS service organizations. To date REAF has raised over two million dollars for AIDS services and research.
