"THE LEADING MEN III" CONCERT AT BIRDLAND APRIL 21st
Jim Caruso's Cast Party and TheaterMania.com are proud to announce "THE LEADING MEN III" at BIRDLAND (315 West 44th Street, NYC - 212-581-3080 - http://www.birdlandjazz.com/ ) on Monday, April 21st at 7:00 pm, as part of the long-running concert series Broadway at Birdland. "THE LEADING MEN III" concert is a benefit for BROADWAY CARES/EQUITY FIGHTS AIDS (http://www.bcefa.org/ ). John Tartaglia, the Tony-nominated star of "Avenue Q," will again host this annual celebration of stellar male singers and actors from Broadway and cabaret. Seth Rudetsky, the Emmy-nominated writer, host and comic, also returns as its musical director as does director Alan Muraoka (NAATCO's "Falsettoland").

This year's "LEADING MEN" lineup consists of: Tom Andersen (5-Time MAC Award Winner), Michael Arden ("The Times They Are A-Changin"), Skylar Astin ("Spring Awakening"), David Burnham ("Wicked"), Jim Caruso ("Jim Caruso's Cast Party"), Jonathan Groff ("Spring Awakening"), Norm Lewis ("The Little Mermaid"), Michael McElroy ("Rent"), Skie Ocasio ("Bombay Dream"), Sean Palmer ("The Little Mermaid"), Aaron Ramey ("Curtains"), Robb Sapp ("Wicked"), Christopher Sieber ("Spamalot"), Marcus Simeone (2-Time Mac Award Winner), Bobby Steggert ("110 In The Shade") And Jim Walton ("Merrily We Roll Along").

"THE LEADING MEN III" concert is produced by Wayman Wong, who edits entertainment for the New York Daily News. He originated and wrote "THE LEADING MEN" column for Playbill.com from 2003-2006. The first "LEADING MEN" concert was held May 30, 2005 at Joe's Pub, and its sequel, "THE LEADING MEN II" concert, took place on Feb. 5, 2007 at Birdland. Both events were sold out and raised thousands of dollars for BC/EFA.

Tickets are $50 plus a $10 Food/Drink Minimum - VIP tickets are available for $100.
