honoring super jazz legends Celia Cruz, Ella Fitzgerald, and Peggy
Lee, and living jazz legends Sarah McLawler, Marian McPartland, and
Carline Ray at ST. PETER'S CHURCH (619 Lexington Avenue, NYC - 212-935-2200

), Friday, April 4th through Sunday, April 6th. The festival will
include a live jazz jam with college students and other musicians;
a business management panel discussion, "What Is Jazz?"; workshop
for youth; concerts featuring dynamic bands led by women jazz musicians;
and major concerts Saturday and Sunday evenings.

Friday, April 4th
6:00-10:00 pm - Reception and live jazz with Jazzberry Jam. Jazz
jam session with Dona Carter Trio, past IWJ Youth in Jazz Awardees,
college jazz musicians and others.
