from containers placed throughout the Oak Room for Tierney and Shelly

Tierney has performed at the Oak Room with her band,

the 1998 Thelonious Monk Jazz Vocal Competition, Tierney released
her first album in 1999, Introducing Tierney Sutton, earning her
a reputation as one of the most important innovative performers
on today's jazz scene. Each successive CD, Unsung Heroes, Blue in
Green (a Bill Evans tribute), Something Cool, Dancing in the Dark
(Sinatrainspired), I'm with the Band and On the Other Side have
brought continued acclaim.
Pianist, composer, arranger and educator, Shelly Berg
