CHELSEA PLUMLEY RELEASES DEBUT CD - "LIVE & LUSCIOUS"

The dynamic and delightful Australian cabaret and theatre star, Chelsea Plumley, has released her debut solo CD - "Live & Luscious." It features an eclectic mix of show tunes, popular hits and cabaret songs, and was recorded during her September 2003 cabaret season at CHAPEL OFF CHAPEL (12 Little Chapel Street, Prahran, Melbourne, AUS - Bookings 03-8290-7011) in Melbourne, with Michael Tyack as Musical Director. "Live & Luscious" was released in June 2004 and is available through Middle Eight Music at http://www.middle8.com/ .

Since graduating from WAAPA (West Australian Academy of Performing Arts) in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theatre, Chelsea has been wowing audiences with her spectacular talents as singer, comedienne, actor, dancer and musician. When she made her New York cabaret debut at Don't Tell Mama in 2003 she was described by the media as "truly, truly a major star in the making."

In addition to extensive international tours of her own cabaret shows, Chelsea's stage credits include the role of Rizzo in the Australian tour of "Grease - The Mega Musical," Tim Rice's "Concert Spectacular," "Master Class," "And The World Goes Round" and the Australian premiere of "An Unfinished Song."

Chelsea is also an experienced accompanist having worked with the West Australian Conservatorium, WAAPA and the corporate group, The Three Waiters. She is a 2004 GLUG award winner for "Most Versatile Performance" and was featured on the CD of the Australian musical "Chair In The Landscape" and on Eddie Perfect's debut CD "Welcome To The Inside Of Ed's Head."
