GRIMM RELEASES NEW CHRISTMAS CD
Singer
Jennifer Grimm will present her Christmas show "A Christmas With Family
and Friends," based on her new CD of the same name, at THE DUPLEX
CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC - 1-212-255-5438 - http://www.theduplex.com/)
on Tuesday, December 9th at 9:00 pm and Friday, December 12th at 11:00
pm. This is Ms. Grimm's second CD. The release of her debut CD "All
Of Me" coincided with her New York cabaret debut at the FireBird Cafe
in 2000. There will be a $15.00 music charge-and a 2-drink minimum/
Jennifer
began performing professionally at age 2, and has never stopped singing.
She began her national career singing with her family's variety show
Grimm & Raye. By age 13, Jennifer had appeared on TV, in theme parks,
casinos, night clubs and resorts, and had recorded in several studios
nationally.
In her home
town of Minneapolis, Miss Grimm is best known for her performances
and recordings with Twin Cities' R&B band Power of 10, and is featured
on their CD Driven To Soul; Minnesota jazz artist, Gene Adams; the
Minnesota Boy's Choir; and continued performances with her family,
as well as her theater and solo cabaret performances. Her theater
roles have included Mama Rose in Gypsy, Nola Granville in Weird Romance,
Jennifer in Fairy Tales, Mary Magdelene in Jesus Christ Superstar
and Lost In Boston.
Jennifer
continues to perform internationally in clubs, music festivals and
industrials across the USA and from the Caribbean to the Mediterranean;
including opening for Oleta Adams at the 2002 St. Vincent Blues Festival,
while being named Aruba Records' #2 recording star for 2001.
