CD FROM JOHN BOWLES - THE PETER ALLEN SONGBOOK

To
coincide with an Australian national tour of his tribute show to the
legendary Peter Allen (the man known as "The Boy from Oz"), the ever-popular
John Bowles has released his third solo CD, "The Peter Allen Songbook,"
released through Middle Eight Music and is available online at http://www.middle8.com/
(JBP 003). The album features ten of Peter Allen's best-loved songs,
including "I Honestly Love You," "Arthur's Theme," "Tenterfield Saddler"

John at the peak of his powers as both a superb vocalist and a sensitive
interpreter of lyrics.

travelling the country with the team. During this time he recorded
solo and group records, and clocked up an amazing 250 hours of live
variety television.
His stage
credits include the character of Raoul for 1,000 performances of The
"Phantom of the Opera," Ambrose Kemper in the Australian tour of "Hello,
Dolly!," the narrator Munkustrap in "Cats" throughout Australia, Asia
and South Africa, and Hero in "A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To
The Forum" in Australia and New Zealand.

and performed in the 1999 production of "Elegies for Angels, Punks
and Raging Queens" and has since written and toured two shows of his
own, "The Peter Allen Songbook" and "Frankly Sinatra."
