Jodi Stevens'"Girl Talk" CD Set For September Release

"Girl Talk," the latest recording by Jodi Stevens, will be released in September of 2002. Packed with multimedia content , Ms. Stevens has recorded an album of jazz standards interpreted in a thoroughly modern way. Stevens pays tribute to strong women such as Peggy Lee, Sarah Vaughan, and Rosemary Clooney.

Raised in a musical family, Jodi is a complete entertainer. At home in the studio as well as on stage and screen, Jodi impressed critics as Lucy in JEKYLL & HYDE and is now preparing to return to Broadway creating the role of Pam in URBAN COWBOY in 2003.

She is backed on the CD by a collection of world-class musicians, including pianist/arranger Ted Rosenthal, bassist Jay Leonhart, drummer Akira Tana, and Grammy Award winner Lew Soloff on trumpet.

"Girl Talk" is being developed into a live show scheduled to debut in Los Angeles in September, before Miss Stevens returns to the east coast.
