MUSIC ANNOUNCES CD RELEASE BY BOB SOLONE "Solo Piano By Request"

is proud to present the CD debut of pianist/arranger Bob Solone. Entitled
"Solo Piano By Request," it is a collection of eclectric favorites
by some of the best well known classic songwriters. Released on the
new label LMGKIDSOURCE music and distributed by O.C. Records. A CD
Release Party will be held at THE BIG HOUSE (2354 North Clybourn Avenue,
Chicago, IL - 773-435-0130) on Monday, December 16th from 8:30 to
11:30 pm.
Bob Solone has appeared
all over the world: from the MGM Grand and Caesar's Palace in Vegas;
Yvette's and the Big House in Chicago; Ted Hook's Backstage and the
legendary Carnegie Hall in New York. His travels have taken him to
Acapulco, Puerto Vallarta and Italy, and he has accompanied such vocalists
as Debbie Reynolds, Barbara Eden, Dorothy McGuire, as well as the
French singer Jean-Paul Vignon.
"Solo Piano By Request"
features material by composers as diverse as Jimmy Webb, Michele LeGrand,
Richard Rodgers, Ernesto Lecuona, Mason Williams, Cole Porter and
Cesare Andrea Bixio. The music ranges form the Chopinesque rendition
of the classic "Just One of Those Things" to the stunning versions
of "Slaughter on 10th Avenue" and "MacArthur Park" and the still obscure
"You Must Believe in Spring." Recorded and mixed at the legendary
Chicago Recording Company and mastered by Larry Millas, Bob Solone's
"Solo Piano By Request" is a self-produced labor of love.
