Jan Peters Debut CD Recording Premieres at Scullers Jazz Club

Boston vocalist Jan Peters will debut her new CD "Somebody Come And Play" at SCULLERS JAZZ CLUB (400 Soldiers Field Road, Allston, MA - 617-562-4111 - http://www.scullersjazz.com/) on Wednesday, October 2nd at 8:00 pm. Ms. Peters will be accompanied by the Tom LaMark orchestra. Tickets are $20 for the show, and a special dinner/show package is available for $53. Reservations are recommended.

Ms. Peter's work draws from an extensive repertoire of popular Broadway and standard songs as well as material from promising new songwriters. Recent performances include Boston's First Night, CabaretFest Provincetown & Newburyport, Boston's First Annual Cabaret Festival, and "Summer Swing."

Jan's recent cabaret show, "Old Fashioned, Please!" was named one of Boston' s Top Ten by The Bay Windows Newspaper. In addition to her cabaret work, Jan performs throughout New England accompanied by ensembles ranging from intimate jazz ensembles to large swing orchestras. Jan's cabaret work has been showcased as well at many of Boston's most prestigious venues such as Scullers Jazz Club, Club Caf˙, and The Lyric Stage.

Jan appears regularly at CLUB CAFE (209 Columbus Avenue, Boston, MA - 617-536-0966 - http://www.clubcafe.com/), and performs every Friday evening at THE ENCORE LOUNGE in the Tremont Hotel (275 Tremont Street, Boston, MA - 617-426-1400).
