"PENTIMENTO" FEATURING A DUET WITH JOHN PIZZARELLI

AVAILABLE EXCLUSIVELY AT WWW.PSCLASSICS.COM NOW - IN STORES BEGINNING JUNE 4th

PS CLASSICS has released "Pentimento" (ps-205), the debut solo CD from acclaimed singer/actress Jessica Molaskey, exclusively at http://www.psclassics.com/. The CD will be available in stores on June 4th. Featuring a duet with jazz guitarist/singer John Pizzarelli and arrangements by Mr. Pizzarelli and Larry Goldings, the recording was produced by Mr. Pizzarelli and Allen Sviridoff. The executive producer for PS Classics is Tommy Krasker.

"Pentimento" puts a jazzy new twist on a collection of vintage American popular songs and novelties from the 1920s and 1930s, performed with an all-star jazz band featuring Larry Goldings and Ray Kennedy on piano, Ken Peplowski on clarinet, Johnny Frigo on violin, Bucky Pizzarelli on guitar and THE JOHN PIZZARELLI TRIO. Selections range from light, fresh interpretations of "Red, Red Robin" and "Oh, How I Hate To Get Up in the Morning" to the introspective, bittersweet ballads "What'll I Do" and "I'm Always Chasing Rainbows." The CD also includes original compositions by Molaskey and John Pizzarelli.

Ms. Molaskey is a critically acclaimed singer and actress recently featured at Lincoln Center's "American Songbook Series," performing the songs of Arthur Schwartz, Jimmy Van Heusen and Harry Warren, and at FEINSTEIN'S at the Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue, NYC - 212-339-4095 - http://www.feinsteinsattheregency.com/) with her husband John Pizzarelli. She has also performed at Carnegie Hall, Joe's Pub, Rainbow & Stars, and with orchestras and in concert venues across the country.

Her theatre credits include the world premieres of the new musicals "3hree," directed by Hal Prince and the Stephen Sondheim/John Weidman musical "Wise Guys," directed by Sam Mendes. Ms. Molaskey was featured in the Tony Award-winning musical "Parade," directed by Mr. Prince, at Lincoln Center. Other credits include "Dream True," directed by Tina Landau at the Vineyard Theatre, and "Songs For A New World," directed by Daisy Prince, in which she introduced the new standard "Stars and the Moon."

Mr. Krasker received a 2001 Grammy Award nomination for the New York Philharmonic's "Sweeney Todd: Live in Concert," as well as nominations for the "Titanic" and "Footloose" Broadway Cast Recordings.
