"John McDaniel at the Piano: Compositions," available exclusively at http://www.JohnMcDaniel.com/.

Conductor, composer, arranger and Grammy Award-winning record producer John McDaniel, known to millions for his daily gig as Music Director of "The Rosie O'Donnell Show," has announced the release of his third CD, "John McDaniel at the Piano: Compositions."

An amazing selection of new songs, "McDaniel at the Piano," captures McDaniel's writing talent at it's best. For the first time the public will be treated to an entire CD of this Grammy and Emmy Award winner's own songs and is a great addition to any music aficionado's collection.

In addition to John's solo efforts, his work has appeared on several other recordings; in fact, his work as producer on the Broadway Cast Album of "Annie Get Your Gun" won him his first Grammy Award. He also conducted the Broadway Cast Albums of "Grease" with Rosie O'Donnell and Brooke Shields; played, conducted and arranged "Patti LuPone, Live!" and conducted several tracks on Davis Gaines' solo debut CD, "Against the Tide."

"John McDaniel at the Piano: Compositions" will be distributed exclusively through McDaniel's website, http://www.JohnMcDaniel.com/. Other features of the site include the latest on McDaniel's life as a conductor and music director, concert dates, upcoming projects, awards and up-to-the-minute biographical information.

John McDaniel added Emmy Award winner to his list of credits this year for his work on "The Rosie O'Donnell Show." McDaniel was also the Music Director of Broadway's revival of "Annie Get Your Gun," winner of the 1999 Tony award for Best Revival of a Musical. McDaniel's most recent arranging and conducting credits for television specials include "A Rosie Christmas" for ABC and the Friar's Roasts of Jerry Stiller, Rob Reiner and Hugh Hefner, all for Comedy Central. He has also been a featured pops conductor with many symphony orchestras nationwide, including the St. Louis Symphony and the Buffalo Philharmonic, among others.
