VALERIE
LEMON CELEBRATES RELEASE OF NEW ALBUM

Renowned
concert and nightclub performer Valerie Lemon enters the spotlight
with her first recorded collection of songs, "The Way of the Heart,"
polished during her sold-out run at DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th
Street, NYC - 212-757-0788 - http://www.donttellmamanyc.com/).
Lemon°s performance on songs such as the powerful "Hello, Tom" (Brian
Lasser) and the poignant "A Mother°s Prayer" (Melissa Manchester,
Karen Taylor Good) displays a vocalist at the peak of her powers,
infusing each lyric with incisive, intuitive phrasing and heartfelt
emotion. The debut CD also finds Valerie re-connecting with the Broadway
classic, "At The Ballet," which she performed in concert worldwide
during her twelve-year association with composer/pianist Marvin Hamlisch.
"The Way Of The Heart"
finds Ms. Lemon collaborating with producer Peter Calo, who has toured
and recorded with Carly Simon and Linda Eder, and musical director/arranger
Phil Hall, who composed the Paper Mill Playhouse production of "Dr.
Jekyll and Mr. Hyde," and currently produces the vocal group "Passage."
