Award-winning cabaret performer Jamie deRoy, best known for her Jamie deRoy & friends cabaret shows, rings in the holiday season with the perfect stocking stuffer: "Jamie deRoy & friends - Vol. 3: Tis The Season," an enchanting collection of Christmas favorites performed by deRoy and the most celebrated entertainers from the worlds of Broadway, film, television and cabaret. The CD - deRoy's third full-length recording - will be released by Harbinger Records in November 2001.

"Jamie deRoy & friends - Vol. 3: Tis The Season" serves up an eclectic array of classic and contemporary Christmas tunes, from the sentimental favorite "Silver Bells," performed by Jamie deRoy to the quirky "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer," performed by KT Sullivan. The delightful collection captures ail the colors of the holiday season with an acapella version of "Carol of the Bells," performed by The Accidentals, Billy Stritch crooning the wistful "It'll Be Christmas Before You Know It," The New York City Gay Men's Chorus' "Uptown Express," offering the nostalgic "Remember," Stephanie Pope tearing into a syncopated "Santa Claus is Coming to Town," and a jazzy "Winter Wonderland" duet featuring Kim Cea and Jerry Dixon. Sally Kellerman adds some sizzle to the lively recording with her sultry ~Santa Baby," and Dee Hoty offers a hilarious take on holiday heartbreak with "The Twelve Days After Christmas."

"Jamie deRoy & friends - Vol. 3: Tis The Season" also features Sal Viviano performing "The Christmas Song," Scott Coulter and Lisa Asher performing ~My Grown-Up Christmas List," Anne Runolfsson offering a folksy "River," Craig Rubano singing "Just in Time for Christmas," Jeff Harnar performing "Little Drummer Boy," Deborah Tranelli singing ~A Hometown Christmas Postcard," and a ~White Christmas" duet featuring Eric Michael Gillett and Melanie Vaughan.

Jamie deRoy is a celebrated comedienne, singer, cabaret performer, actress, producer, and talk show host. Winner of six MAC Awards, deRoy has been running her critically-acclaimed variety show, "Jamie deRoy & friends," for the past eleven years at clubs in New York, Los Angeles, and Hilton Head Island. Her first CD, "Jamie deRoy & friends: The Child in Me, Volume 1," won the 2000 MAC Award for Recording of the Year. "Jamie deRoy & friends Ü Volume 2: The Child in Me" was released in November 2000 with a fundraiser benefiting Variety: The Children's Charity. In addition to her distinctive performing career, deRoy is also established producer whose credits include Channel Thirteen's Emmy Award-winning City Arts series.
