SOUTHPORT RECORDS CD RELEASE PARTY FOR ROB RYNDAK'S "STAY WITH IT" SATURDAY, JULY 7th

POPS HIGHWOOD AND SOUTHPORT RECORDS will present Composer/Pianist and Percussionist Rob Ryndak with his third Southport CD Release, "Stay With It." Rob's music is a mix of contemporary jazz, Latin and popular forms. In celebration "Stay With It," Southport Records and POPS HIGHWOOD (214 Green Bay Road, Highwood, IL - 847-266-1313) will present Rob Ryndak and his ensemble in a special CD release concert on Saturday, July 7th at 8:30 pm. Southport vocalist Eugenia Elliott will get the event under way in an opening set with the one and only guitar man and composer Dave Onderdonk. Rob's band will include Alejo Poveda on percussion, Andrew Sole on drums, Steve Wunder on sax, John Falstrom on bass and Dave Onderdonk on guitar. Master of ceremonies will be Scott Adams of WNUA - The Sounds Of Brazil Radio Network.

The music of Rob Ryndak has a gentle, ethereal quality with patches of urban intensity. It moves film like, weaving stories and myths. Rob leaves room for his collection of master musicians to interact and toy with his melodies and rhythms
