NEW CD BY DC RELEASED BY LML

Bistro and Matson Award winning singer/songwriter D.C. Anderson's 7th CD release is titled 'i am still' - and is available NOW (in advance of its' September 12th release date) at LML Music (http://www.LMLMusic.com/ ) and all over the web.

The CD features 15 new songs written in collaboration with Roy Zimmerman, Elizabeth Doyle, Ritt Henn, David Robison and Steven Landau and include 'Maury' from the perspective of a baby on a Maury Povich DNA show;'Madison Laughs' the story of a young girl labeled 'slow' and her Mother's reaction when she attracts the attention of a young man; 'Jury Duty Girlfriend' it can happen; 'i am still' a motel stands empty and decaying; 'the visit' a few months after DC lost his Mom to emphysema, she appeared to him in a dream; 'Hello Nancy, Goodby Ron' written in the days following Ronald Reagan's funeral; 'I Least Expect You Now' a call to the attention of potential suitors!!; 'Hard This Goodbye' and 7 more. Spare acoustic arrangements feature Steven Landau and David Robison on piano and Geoff Packard and Gannt Kushner on guitar.

D.C. Anderson has performed at Carnegie Hall, Town Hall and Don't Tell Mama in New York City, the Plush Room in San Francisco, Davenport's in Chicago and the Gardenia and the Alex Theatre in Los Angeles. Stage work includes Broadway (THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA), National Tours (MARTIN GUERRE, POTO, THE LIFE AND ADVENTURES OF NICHOLAS NICKLEBY and PIPPIN) and regional work with Steppenwolf Theater Company of Chicago and the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis.

He conceived and produced the first Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS Holiday Benefit CD in 1993 called CABARET NOEL and a 2 CD set featuring new or never before recorded holiday songs by Sondheim, Mary Rodgers, Styne, Kander and Ebb, Polly Pen, Flaherty and Ahrens, Alan Chapman, Amanda McBroom performed by Brian Stokes Mitchell, Karen Ziemba, Karen Akers, Jeff Harnar, Andrea Marcovicci, Leslie Uggams, Susan Stroman and Scott Ellis, Maureen McGovern, Howard McGillin and many others.
