THE COLONY-PALM BEACH ANNOUNCES FALL CABARET SCHEDULE
THE ROYAL ROOM at THE COLONY HOTEL (155 Hammond Avenue, Palm Beach,

) announced another sizzling, song-filled Fall at the hotel's celebrated
Royal Room. Musical Headliners Include Charles Cochran, Karen Mason,
Klea Blackhurst, KT Sullivan & Mark Nadler and The Four Freshmen.
Thursdays through Saturdays, October 18th through 20th
and 25th through 27th Charles Cochran returns by popular demand. Charles
Cochran has been a mainstay at New York parties and nightclubs for
the last three decades. He has a distinctive style and a jazzy chord
sense. He's released several albums, including two on Fred Astaire's
label and two for Audiophile. $85 for dinner and show; $40 for show
only.
Thursdays through Saturday, November 1st through 3rd
and 8th through 10th, Karen Mason makes her Royal Room debut. A stylish
and mesmerizing singer, Karen Mason can easily switch from brassy
to blues, bright high notes to muted low ones, wringing meaning out
of every moment. Her intelligence, range and breadth of vocal color
bring the house down. Although Mason may be best known for her Broadway
appearances, she's also spent years headlining in such New York venues
as Rainbow & Stars, the Algonquin and the Russian Tea Room, and at
the Cinegrill in L.A. and the Plush Room in San Francisco. $95 for
dinner and show; $50 for show only.
Kleah Blackhurst makes her Royal Room debut November
15th through 17th and 23rd & 24th. Klea Blackhurst is best known for
her acclaimed tribute to Ethel Merman, ("Everything the Traffic Will
Allow") that has been charming audiences and critics alike nationwide
since 2001. She made her Carnegie Hall debut starring with Michael
Feinstein in an evening devoted to the work of composer, Jule Styne.
Her TV and radio appearances include "The Caroline Rhea Show", "The
Rosie O'Donnell Show", "Sesame Street", and "A Prairie Home Companion."
$95 for dinner and show; $50 for show only.
KT Sullivan & Mark Nadler return on November 29th through
December 1st and December 6th through 8th. Both have flourishing solo
careers and have appeared in duet shows in venues around the world.
$100 for dinner and show; $55 for show only.
December 13th through 15th and 20th through 22nd, The
Four Freshmen return. Celebrating more than a half-century of crowd-pleasing
performances, The Four Freshmen is the nation's longest lasting vocal
harmony group. From their first hit song, "It's a Blue World," to
being voted Down Beat Magazine's Vocal Group of the Year in both 2000
and 2001, the group presents classic jazz-pop songs with cutting-edge
vitality. The Four Freshmen have released more than 40 albums and
70 singles and been nominated six times for a Grammy. $110 for dinner
and show; $60 for show only.
Doors open at 6:45 for dinner and the show starts around
8:00 pm.
