HELP IS ON THE WAY FOR THE HOLIDAYS IX IN SAN FRANCISCO
The Richmond/Ermet AIDS Foundation (REAF - http://www.richmondermet.org/
) presents HELP IS ON THE WAY FOR THE HOLIDAYS IX - the kick-off event
heralding the holiday season in San Francisco on Sunday, December 2nd
at 7:30 pm at THE HERBST THEATRE (401 Van Ness Avenue, San Francisco,
CA - 415-392-4400 - http://www.cityboxoffice.com/ ).There is a pre-show
Silent Auction starting at 5:30 pm. Beneficiaries of this yearês concert
are Meals of Marin and Positive Resource Center. This yearês annual
all-star holiday benefit concert features the talents of performers
in fields of entertainment including Broadway, Film, TV, Recording,
Jazz and Dance. The show is directed by David Galligan.¾Musical Directors:
Richard Berent & Bill Keck. Producers are Joe Seiler & Ken Henderson.
The star-studded line-up features stage & screen stars
including La Toya London, Anthony Fedorov, Justin Guarini, Mary Wilson,
Sally Struthers, Jeannette Bayardelle, Carole Cook, Vicki Lewis, Sharon
McNight, Kevin Earley, Tim Hockenberry, Wesla Whitfield, Sony Holland,
Meg Mackay, Shawn Ryan, Leanne Borghesi, plus Mind Over Matter (Hip-Hop
Dance Troupe).
Since itês inception in 1995, The Richmond/Ermet AIDS Foundation has
raised well over $2 million for AIDS service agencies in the Bay Area
and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. 100% of proceeds from ticket
sales have always gone directly to the beneficiary partners.
HELP IS ON THE WAY FOR THE HOLIDAYS IX is produced by
The Richmond/Ermet AIDS Foundation, founded in 1995 by Barbara Richmond
& Peggy Ermet in memory of their sons, John Richmond & Doug Ermet,
who both lost their lives to AIDS. In 1995 They decided not to get
mad but get even when they launched a musical AIDS benefit to honor
their sons and raise funds for AIDS service organizations.
Tickets are $45, $65 & $100.
