SAN FRANCISCO CABARET STARS BRING HIT MUSICAL REVUE TO WALNUT CREEK
The Walnut Creek debut of NIGHT AND DAY: The Songs of COLE PORTER starring Meg Mackay & Billy Philadelphia featuring classic and memorable songs from Cole Porter's Songbook including I've Got You Under My Skin, My Heart Belongs To Daddy, I Get A Kick Out Of You, You're The Top, and many more favorites. Performances are scheduled for Friday & Saturday, March 23rd & 24th at 8:15 pm and Sunday, March 25th at 2:15 pm at the DEAN LESHER REGIONAL CENTER FOR THE ARTS (1601 Civic Drive, Walnut Creek, CA - 925-943-7469 - http://dlrca.org/ ).

Critically referred to as San Francisco's First Couple of Cabaret, Meg Mackay & Billy Philadelphia have reigned over the bay area music scene in every milieu imaginable, from jazz clubs to cabarets and theatre to television. Their countless accolades range from DramaLogue and Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle Awards, to their prestigious Dean Goodman CHOICE Honors.

Meg & Billy have been married for 12 years, and performing together for 14. They also maintain separate careers. Meg has starred in numerous stage productions including HELLO, DOLLY!; GYPSY; SHE LOVES ME; GUYS AND DOLLS, and has recorded two popular CD's - SO MANY PEOPLE and LEGALLY BLONDE. Billy is an established pianist, singer, arranger, composer and teacher, and has served as musical director for both San Jose Repertory and Marin Theatre Companies, as well as for the local television shows AM SAN FRANCISCO and SFO. After recent runs at Aurora Theatre, New Conservatory Theatre, and Spreckels Performing Arts Center, they return to Walnut Creek with their celebrated Tribute to the songs of Cole Porter.
