Back from a lengthy European tour, Marlene verPlanck returns to LE DOME at THE MANOR (111 Prospect Avenue, West Orange, NJ - 973-731-2360 - http://themanorrestaurant.com/cabaret.html ) on Thursday, October 18th at 9:00 pm with her show ÀSongs Sinatra Sang” a program re-creating some of the music of Àthe definitive crooner” sprinkled with interesting trivia. Sinatra¡s repertoire of songs was written by the world¡s most famous and talented songwriters. As a top- flight New York studio singer, Marlene sang Àback-up” to Sinatra several times.

Marlene started her series at The Manor about 15 years ago and much to The Manor¡s delight has performed to full houses every year since. She works all over the U.S., england, France, Japan, and Switzerland † in places like Birdland in New York, The Jazz Bakery in California, or a jazz festival in Japan. Rave reviews have accompanied every single job and each and every one of her 19 CDs. You can find instrumentalists like George Shearing, Marian McPartland, Tommy Flanagan, Dr. Billy Taylor, Bucky Pizzarelli and many others as special guests on her recordings.

Dinner seatings at ARE 6:00, 6:15 & 6:30 pm. Show at 9:00 pm. 4-Course Dinner & Show $74.
