PRE-NEW YEAR'S EVE BASH WITH SCOT ALBERTSON

Scot Albertson and the Daryl Kojak Jazz Quintet will present their 3rd Annual Pre-New Year's Eve bash this year on Saturday December 29th at 9:30 pm at THE WEST BANK CAFE/LAURIE BEECHMAN THEATER (407 West 42nd Street, NYC - 212-695-6909 - http://www.westbankcafe.com/theater/schedule ). A double celebration will be in store for that evening this this performance will also celebrate the public release of Scot's new (and 3rd) CD, FATE REVEALED BY DESIGN. This new CD was recorded with the Jazz Quintet and with a string quartet and with Rex Benincasa on percussion. Special Guest Pianist on the new CD is Jerry Scott. All attending this show will receive a free copy of the new CD. There is a $20 cover plus a $15 food/drink minimum.

Scot started performing in June 2005 at the legendary Danny's Skylight Cabaret Room in New York City. That year Cabaret Hotline Online chose Scot as one of that years Outstanding Cabaret Debut Performers. A "Design of Fate" occurred when Scot, Daryl and the Quintet performed the very last performance at Danny's on December 30th, 2006 prior to Danny's closing. During that performance, Scot's 2nd. CD, FATE JUST WON'T WAIT, was publicly released.

Scot and Daryl were both nominated for MAC Awards in 2007: Scot for Male Jazz Vocalist and Daryl for Musical Director.
