CABARET NEWS - NEW YORK CITY

HAVE A HOLLYWOOD HOLIDAY WITH ROSENE AND MOORE
Two inveterate film-buffs, Barbara Rosene and Gregory Moore perform some favorite Christmas classics ("Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," "I'll Be Home For Christmas," "White Christmas," et al) in their latest collaboration "Hollywood Christmas" to be presented on Thursday, December 6th & 13th at 8:00 pm at MUSIC BOX SHOWROOM at BROADWAY BABY BISTRO & PIANO LOUNGE (318 West 53rd Street, NYC - 212-757-5808 - http://www.broadwaybabybistro.com/ ). They'll be accompanied by Jesse Gelber on piano and Jessie Bunting on sax.

In addition to those standards, they've tracked down some "long-lost" songs from Meet Me In St. Louis, It's a Wonderful Life and other popular Christmas-themed films and television specials (which you'll recognize them when you hear them, if you love "Hollywood Christmas" like they do!).

Barbara Rosene, one of New York's favorite Big Band chanteuses, is currently lead female vocalist with The Harry James Orchestra. Her latest CD It Was Only a Sun Shower is about to be released (Stomp Off Records) and she is much in demand as a guest vocalist.

Baritone Gregory Moore recently returned from London, where his show Pennies From Heaven: The Arthur Tracy Story (with cabaret legend, Steve Ross) was sold out and much-acclaimed. His dance orchestra, Gregory Moore and the Moonlight Syncopators, will be releasing their first CD in early 2008.

There is a $12 cover plus a $15 food/drink minimum.
