ERIN GRANFIELD SAVED FROM OBSCURITY
Actress/Singer Erin Granfield will make her New York City cabaret
debut with her show Saved From Obscurity playing at the THE WEST BANK

) on November 8th at 9:30 pm and on November 17th at 3:00 pm. The
show features the lesser known works of composers such as Richard
Rodgers, Joni Mitchell, and Stephen Sondheim. The program offers an
eclectic mix of songs, from Broadway to folk to disco, most of which
fall on the more "rarely heard" side of the spectrum.
Musical Director Douglas J. Cohen is an award winning
composer. He has written the scores for No Way to Treat a Lady,
The Big Time, and Opposite of Sex, among others. MAC, Bistro, and
Nightlife Award winning cabaret artist Lisa Asher directs. Singer/Actor
Dan Debenport (Music Man first national tour, Les Miserables at
California Musical Theatre) is special guest.
Originally from Washington, DC, Erin Granfield has
appeared in theatrical productions across the country. Favorite
credits include the first national tour of the Stroman-directed
Music Man (Marian Paroo u/s, performed), The Secret Garden (Martha),
and Sweeney Todd (Johanna). Erin is a graduate of Northwestern University,
a National Foundation for the Arts (NFAA) youngARTS top prize winner,
and a member of Actors' Equity Association.
There is a $15 cover charge and a $15 food and/or
drink minimum.
