MARGOH! RETURNS WITH COMMAND PERFORMANCE - MARGOH! RAW
The award winning and international superstar MargOH! Channing returns
with a command performance of her show "What Makes a Legend Drink
Most?" at THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATRE (61 Christopher Street, NYC -

) on Tuesday November 13th at 9:30 pm. Ms. Channing has invited some
very special guests to join in on the fun including MAN-ee "The Gay
Fiance" (Jeff Catlow) and La John Joseph. Musical director is Jarad
Astin.
The award-winning and legendary extra (and premiere
Liza Minnelli stand in) MargOH! Channing calls this edition of the
show: "MargOH! RAW: A Command Performance." MargOH! will be sharing
more of her drinking stories, performing original songs and even
releasing her inner most Liza.
MAN-ee "The Gay Fiance" (Jeff Catlow) is an award
winning actor and singer who has trained with Broadway and Opera
veteran Leslie Giammanco and My Brightest Diamond's Shara Worden.
His credits include regional productions of The Glass Menagerie
(Tom), The Normal Heart (Tommy), Brighton Beach Memoirs (Eugene)
and Oliver (Fagin). He has also performed his one-man show Administer
Me Outta Here! as well as appeared in Ms. Channing's "What Makes
a Legend Drink Most?". Currently he is working on his debut CD.
La John Joseph was born in Liverpool in 1982. He co-founded
the international Dada cabaret collective Boyfriend Robotique in
San Francisco in 2004; started the art 'zine "P.S. I LOVE YOU" in
London in 2005; relocated to New York as a solo performer in 2007.
Since arriving in New York he has been featured in The New Yorker,
The New York Times art section slideshow, and Flavorpill. He has
performed at Kino 41, Freshly Squeezed, Sugar Shack, Unisexxx Salon,
Galapagos Art Space, Luke and Leroy, Dixon Place, Rapture Cafe,
Supreme Trading, Rose Live Music, Coney Island, Weimar New York
and the New York Burlesque festival.
Jarad Astin (Musical Direction) is a graduate of the
Philadelphia College of the Performing Arts ('98), where he studied
closely with Edward Simon (Kevin Eubanks, Bobby Watson, Paquito
D'Rivera, and Terence Blanchard), and legendary organist Trudy Pitts.
He has recently relocated to Brooklyn, NY and where he and cohort
Ben Senterfit have opened up the east coast region of CueZone Records.
He is currently recording and playing various venues with his band
"The Dirty Boogaloo".
There is a $10 cover plus a $15 food/drink minimum.
