CABARET NEWS - NEW YORK CITY

TERESE GENECCO STARS IN DRUNK WITH LOVE: THE SEQUEL!
Award-winning vocalist, Terese Genecco, having recently released her debut CD, "Drunk With Love: A Tribute To Frances Faye!" will bring her follow-up show, "Drunk With Love: The Sequel," a brand new nightclub act, to THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC - 212-206-0440 - http://www.metropolitanroom.com/ ), for a three night run of performances, Wednesday through Friday, November 7th through 9th at 10:30 pm. In this raucous follow-up to her 2007 Backstage Bistro-Award winning show, Terese Genecco brings forth her own splendid version of a hip, swingin' 1950s nightclub act, updated for a modern audience.

"Drunk With Love: The Sequel" explores in song and dialogue, relationships, money, power, lust, sex, gender, and greed... featuring Genecco on vocals, with her stellar, San Francisco-based, 7-piece *little big band* backing her up, sizzling with all new arrangements of favorites like "What Is This Thing Called Love?," "Out Of This World," "You're My Thrill," "I've Got You Under My Skin," "With Plenty Of Money And You," "A Woman Is A Sometime Thing," and other classic tunes.

Genecco will also be appearing in the Mabel Mercer Foundation's Annual Cabaret Convention on Wednesday, November 7th and will present DRUNK WITH LOVE: THE SEQUEL in San Francisco on Saturday, Oct 27th 10:30 pm at THE EMPIRE PLUSH ROOM.

There is a $25 cover plus a 2-beverage minimum.
