MARCH BROADWAY AT BIRDLAND SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED
Broadway at Birdland, the Nightlife Award-winning series of Monday night concerts featuring top theater stars and songwriters, is proud to announce the March schedule. Presented by Jim Caruso and TheaterMania.com at BIRDLAND (315 West 44th Street, NYC - 212-581-3080 - http://www.birdlandjazz.com/ ), the series is an outgrowth of Cast Party, a weekly open-mic night catering to the Broadway, cabaret and jazz crowds. Cover charges vary, with a $10 food/drink minimum per person. A full dinner menu is available until 1am. Every Monday concert is followed by Jim Caruso's Cast Party, an open mic night for the theater, jazz, and cabaret crowds.

March 12th at 7:00 pm - SPEAKEASY
New York's legendary jazz club transforms into an old-school speakeasy with a new-fangled twist for one night only. A host of Broadway's most unique personalities will take you back to the days of Billie Holliday, Nina Simone and Bobby Short with their private, lounge-inspired takes on songs by John Lennon, Joni Mitchell, Rufus Wainwright, Stephin Merritt and more. Featuring Lea DeLaria (On The Town), Kevin Cahoon (The Wedding Singer, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, band Ghetto Cowboy), Michael Winther (Songs From An Unmade Bed, Mamma Mia!), Kyle Jarrow (A Very Merry Unauthorized Childrens Scientology Pageant, Gorilla Man, band Fabulous Entourage), Malan Breton ("Project Runway"), Michael Conley (Hello Boys!) $25 cover, $10 food/drink minimum

March 19th at 7:00 pm - THE BROADWAY BOYS
Producer Jesse Nager created the Broadway Boys in order to create a new sound for theater and non-theater audiences alike. By mixing pop, jazz, gospel, and funk elements to Broadway standards, the Broadway Boys have created what has been called, "a symphony of sound." The Broadway Boys include Maurice Murphy (25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Two Gentlemen of Verona), Daniel Torres (Woman in White, Pirate Queen), Danny Calvert (Altar Boyz, White Noise), Michael Scott (All Shook Up, Mamma Mia), Jesse Nager (Mary Poppins, Good Vibrations), and Peter Matthew Smith (Hairspray, Fiddler on the Roof). $25 cover, $10 food/drink minimum

March 26th at 7:00 pm - AMANDA GREEN & TOM KITT
A dazzling cast of Broadway favorites, along with lyricist Green and composer Kitt, will perform songs from a number of their shows and projects, including High Fidelity, Feeling Electric, and Debbie Does Dallas. $25 cover, $10 food/drink minimum
