showcase features Erin "EJ" Jividen, Erin Wegner Brooks, Christine
Luther, Cat Stratakis, Chris "Jonesy" Jones with Master of Ceremonies
Robert Guida. Michael Martinez has produced showcases in NYC at Don't
Tell Mama and other NYC clubs highlighting emerging talent as well
as singers who have starred on the Broadway stage. Previous variety
shows have been praised by industry professionals and audience members.
EJ (Erin Jividen) has become a recognizable fixture
in the NYC Entertainment World. Her latest record , "Stuck in Traffic"
was produced by the critically acclaimed producer Tony Bon Giovi.
She has performed all over NYC along with London, Los Angeles, and
Miami. Her original rock musical, "Skye is Falling" is currently
in the works to open at The St. Lukes Theatre later this year. Quoted
as having a "voice like liquid love" , EJ is a unique talent with
a style all her own.
Erin Wegner Brooks attended Towson University where
she studied classical voice with Dr. Phillip Collister and vocal
jazz with Ruby "Man" Glover. After graduating with a degree in Music
Industry and Vocal Performance, Erin moved to NYC in 2004. Erin
has performed Off Broadway in A Stoop on Orchard Street, Off-Off
Broadway in Come Away, Flesh Tint, and Independance. She toured
nationally as the Vocalist for Cirque Dreams, performed in Vegas
as a principal singer in Jubilee! , filmed independant movies and
TV pilots, and recorded the soundtrack for the children's video
Tip Tap Top in Play Stages.
As a powerful frontwoman, Christine Luther and her
band Lady Luck toured the U.S. with Molly Hatchet, Foghat, and Pat
Travers Band. She has won Boston's Best Guitarist Competition in
a field of 202 finalists. She took home first prize and the nickname
" Shredder". Currently Christine is performing as a solo acoustic
artist to highlight her songwriting skills. Her songs weave an emotionally
honest sensibility with a pop-songwriting craft inspired by Classic
Rock. Her full length solo acoustic show includes her original music
and covers from Joplin to Jewel.
Cat Stratakis is an up and coming international pop
sensation ready to rock the world. She has sung in numerous clubs
in Baltimore and has won Best Vocalist in Battle of the Bands 2005,
South River Idol Competition and Princess Cruiseline "Princess Idol"
in 2004.
In addition to performing standup comedy and music
all over NYC, Jonesy is a working commercial actor (signed with
C.E.S.D.) with a number of national camera spots currently running.
In December, Jonesy hosted the Nickelodeon Talent Showcase , and
he is currently the television voice of Macy's.
Robert Guida has been entertaining people since he
was old enough to talk. Having studied with the legendary Gene Frankel,
he is now focusing on producing Cable TV programming. He has written
and produced plays and is currently writing a novel.
