ANDREA MARCOVICCI AT THE TOWN HALL FEBRUARY 23RD
For the first time in ten years, Andrea Marcovicci's most requested
show "I'll Be Seeing You ... Love Songs of World War II" can be enjoyed
with a chamber orchestra in two acts. The performance will be on Friday,
February 23rd at 8:00 pm at THE TOWN HALL (123 West 43rd Street, NYC
- 212-840-2824 -

).
Under the musical direction of Shelly Markham, cabaret
star Andrea Marcovicci uses songs and stories to take the audience
on a journey through America's most dramatic era when every song
was irrevocably entwined in each precious moment. The music highlights
many of America's most prolific songwriters including Hoagy Carmichael,
Johnny Mercer, Jule Styne and the many others responsible for hits
like Sentimental Journey, The White Cliffs of Dover and Skylark.
Cabaret legend Andrea Marcovicci continues to entertain
sold-out audiences from coast to coast whenever touring her numerous
critically acclaimed shows. She celebrated her 20th Anniversary
this fall at the legendary Oak Room of the Algonquin Hotel with
her latest creation, IŒm Feeling Like a Million: A Salute the Incomparable
Hildegarde. She returns there this spring for the second year of
her successful "just love ... by request." A departure from her
traditional theme shows, "just love ... by request" features classic
and contemporary material crafted with the collaborative air of
spontaneity as she honors audiencesΠwishes. The show is never done
the same way twice and the list of available songs changes each
season. ü
Tickets are $45 & $40.
