BRYAN BATT IS "LIVE AT THE MET!"
Broadway and off Broadway veteran Bryan Batt makes his New York solo
cabaret debut at THE METROPOLITAN ROOM (34 West 22nd Street, NYC -

) by bringing his one-man show which he has been performing to sold
out audiences in his hometown of New Orleans. Performances are scheduled
for Sunday, February 4th & Wednesday, February 7th, both shows at
9:30 pm. Bryan is joined by musical director Michael Lavine.
Bryan Batt is a native New Orleanian actor, designer,
and borderline fanatic fundraiser for his beleaguered and beloved
hometown. Broadway leading and principal roles include: 2005 revival
LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, SUESSICAL THE MUSICAL,
SUNSET BLVD., SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER, THE SCARLET PIMPERNEL, JOSEPH
AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT, STARLIGHT EXPRESS, and CATS.
Off Broadway: FORBIDDEN BROADWAY STRIKES BACK, FORBIDDEN BRADWAY
CLEANS UP ITS ACT (Drama Desk Nomination).
Bryan created the role of Darius in both the NYC and
LA (Drama Logue Award) productions as well as the film adaptation
of Paul Rudnick's JEFFREY. He has performed in numerous concerts
including 5 appearances, 2 directorial for BROADWAY BY THE YEAR
at Town Hall, and recently appeared on episodes of RESCUE ME and
LAW AND ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT, and was "Guest Designer" on the
STYLE Network's GUESS WHO'S COMING TO DECORATE. A few years ago
Bryan followed his design instincts and along with partner Tom Cianfichi
opened HAZELNUT (http://www.hazelnutneworleans.com/
) one of New Orleans finest gift and home furnishing shops. Look
for him this summer on AMC's new dramatic series "MAD MEN," penned
by EMMY winning writer of the Sopranos, Mathew Wiener.
