CABARET NEWS - NEW YORK CITY

MORE STARS JOIN NIGHTLIFE AWARDS LINEUP
Acclaimed producer Scott Siegel is pleased to announce the addition of country music legend Larry Gatlin, "Jersey Boys" star Daniel Reichard, Broadway favorite Charles Busch and the unique jazz band Ben Riley's Monk Legacy Septet to the line-up of talent for THE 2007 NIGHTLIFE AWARDS, the one and only "All Performance Awards Show" being presented at THE TOWN HALL (123 West 43rd Street, NYC - 212-997-1929 - http://www.the-townhall-nyc.org/ ) on Monday, January 29th at 7:00 pm. These stars join previously announced winners Christine Ebersole, Maureen McGovern, John Pizzarelli, Jessica Molaskey, Freddy Cole and Paula West, and performer/presenters Judy Gold, Tom Wopat, Rupert Holmes, Laurel Masse and other great entertainers from the worlds of cabaret, comedy and jazz.

THE NIGHTLIFE AWARDS are voted on each year by a panel of nearly 30 critics and judges that covers the New York cabaret, jazz and comedy scenes. Past winners who have performed at the Nightlife Awards have included the late Alan King, Robert Klein, Eartha Kitt, Betty Buckley, Keely Smith, Kristin Chenoweth, Brian Stokes Mitchell and Elaine Stritch. This high-profile annual event has also featured famous stars from other media who have come to Town Hall in support of New York Nightlife, including the late film director Robert Altman, Oscar-winning actor F. Murray Abraham, famed dancer John Selya, TV personality Tony Danza and many others.

Creator/Producer Scott Siegel, is also the creator of such other critically acclaimed events as Broadway by the Year, Broadway Unplugged and The Broadway Cabaret Festival, all which take place at The Town Hall. This remarkable night of pure entertainment is priced to be audience-friendly, too. The top ticket is only $75 and prices range to $50 and even $25 in order to ensure that everyone has a chance to see the best nightclub performers in New York all on one stage, on one night.

Tickets are now available at the Town Hall Box Office from Noon to 6:00 pm every day but Sunday, and through TicketMaster.com (212-307-4100). For more information go to http://www.siegelpresents.com/ .
