"BRIAN FARLEY: BY MYSELF" COMING TO ROSE'S TURN IN JANUARY
Brian Farley will be making his solo cabaret debut at UPSTAIRS AT
ROSE'S TURN (55 Grove Street, NYC - 1-212-366-5438 -
http://www.rosesturn.com/ ) in his new show "Brian Farley: By
Myself." Brian, the older of the two fabulous Farley Brothers, who
played to sell-out crowds in both New York and Provincetown over the
past two years, goes at it solo in his new show about singing alone,
being alone, and ultimately the realization that no one is alone.
He sings everything from Irving Berlin to Alanis Morissette, and even
breaks out his tap shoes. "Brian Farley: By Myself" will be performed
Saturdays, January 6th, 13th and 20th at 7:00 pm. Expect a candid
and energetic evening.
Brian Farley has been living and performing in the
NYC area for ten years. He has performed around the country regionally
as Tony in West Side Story, Che in Evita, and the Dentist in Little
Shop of Horrors, among others. In NYC he starred in the Fringe Festival
production of Principia and has performed for President and Senator
Clinton in Picasso at Lapin Agile. In 2004 he created The Farley
Brothers, an act he performs with his brother. In 2006, Brian was
nominated for a New York City Nightlife Award, MAC Award, and won
a Backstage Bistro award for his work in "The Farley Brothers: From
Here To Fraternity." Brian holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Syracuse
University.
