PERFORMANCE CLASSES FOR SINGERS SET TO START JANUARY 15th

A new series of performance classes for singers, to be held for 11 sessions, plus a culminating show led by coaches Lua Hadar, Linda Kosut and Barry Lloyd will be held at the New Performance Group Studio #315 at THE THICK HOUSE THEATRE (1695 18th Street, San Francisco, CA - http://www.thickdescription.org/ ). Class size is limited to 10 participants. Class Dates Winter 2007 are on Mondays from 6:30 to 9:00 pm January 15th, 22nd & 29th, February 5th, 12th & 19th, March 5th, 19th & 26th and April 9th & 16. Each singer gets to work on minimum of 5 songs in the course of the class. Classes will begin promptly at 6:30 pm. Culminating performance and show will be held at MICHAEL'S OCTAVIA LOUNGE (1772 Market Street, SF - 415-863-3516 - http://www.octavialounge.com/ ) date to be announced. Each singer is an individual on his/her own path to excellence. Singers learn both by watching and doing in a Master Class setting. In all 11 sessions, the workshop will cover mic technique, patter, physical presence on stage and song performance. The 12th session will be a show with Barry Lloyd accompanying, featuring all students, to which family, friends and the public are cordially invited. Cost is $495 (includes $20 non-refundable administration fee)
