ANTHONY COCHRAN RETURNS WITH ACCLAIMED DEBUT SHOW
Anthony Cochran returns to DON'T TELL MAMA (343 West 46th Street, NYC - 1-212-757-0788 - http://www.donttellmamanyc.com/ ) on Thursday, January 11th at 9:00 pm with his show Under The Stairs. Urban folk, Irish Ballads, Rock Ballads, and a Blues make this show a different kind of cabaret. New to the scene, this is Anthony's second performance. Anthony's first, also at Don't Tell Mama's, was sold out and in that performance Cochran showed an ability to captivate an audience that is rarely seen in a new performer. Musical director is Daryl Kojak and the show is directed by Melissa Cross.

Originally from North Carolina, Anthony has lived in New York for over 17 years. He combines his southern roots with an urban edge to create music that is heartfelt and raw.

Musical director Daryl Kojak has worked on the New York music scene for more than twenty five years as a pianist, producer, composer, songwriter, arranger and musical director. The musical genres and styles of his extensive recording experience include jazz, blues, gospel, rock, R&B, pop, classical, new age and musical theatre.

Melissa Cross has developed a vocal training method that has been embraced by artists who value raw power and passion above everything in their performance. Her groundbreaking vocal technique can enhance range and increase endurance without sacrificing intensity and individuality.

There is a $15 cover, 2 drink minimum.
