CHRISTINE LAVIN WITH ONE MEATBALL CD RELEASE AT JOE'S PUB
Singer, songwriter and performer Christine Lavin will celebrate the
release of her latest CD "ONE MEATBALL" at JOE'S PUB at THE PUBLIC
THEATRE (425 Lafayette Street, NYC - Tele-Charge: 1-212-239-6200 -
Box Office: 212-539-8778 -
http://www.joespub.com/
) of Friday & Saturday, November 24th & 25th, both shows at 7:00 pm.
She will be joined by special guests The Accidentals, Julie Gold,
Ray Jessel and Mary Liz McNamara.
Ms. Lavin's songs are the sound tracks of American life nailing a
goodly number of the absurdities, quandaries and neuroses that jam
up our daily lives. With a liquid and lyrical voice; virtuoso guitar
skills and comedic sensibility, Lavin threads improv and dialogue
between her delightfully skewed songs into a smart and incisive theatre-concert.
A multi- award winner for both songwriting and performance, Lavin
is known to radio audiences as the creator and host of xm satellite
radio's SLIPPED DISCS. In her latest release "One Meatball" which
she also produced, Christine and 19 singer-songwriters recall a favorite
food in their songs in a unique packaging that is both CD and mini
cookbook! For these two special shows, she'll be joined by four of
the artists from the album.
Tickets are $25.
