RICHARD MALAVET RELEASES LONG AWAITED CD WITH TWO SHOWS IN
TWO VENUES
Acclaimed New York vocalist Richard Malavet launches his highly-anticipated
debut CD "Who Can Say What Love Is?" (in stores October 25th) with
two special NYC live performances. On Tuesday, October 25th at 7:00
pm, he will be at DANNY'S SKYLIGHT ROOM (346 West 46th Street, NYC

), both shows in celebration of the album's release.
For these performances, Richard will be joined on stage by a trio
of musicians including: his long time Musical Director, arranger and
accompanist Ross Patterson; Don Falzone (Bass); and Gene Lewin (Drums)
with guest artist Justin Flynn (Saxophone).
Richard has been crooning audiences with his silky
and commanding baritone voice for several years, performing at such
noteworthy cabaret venues as Judy's Cabaret, Eighty Eights, Don't
Tell Mama's, Judy's Chelsea, Danny's Skylight Room Cabaret, Mama
Rose's and The Encore. His self-released debut CD is an eclectic
and inspiring work features exciting interpretations of popular
songs by legendary songwriters/composers Sammy Cahn and Jule Styne
("Time After Time"), Oscar Hammerstein II and Jerome Kern ("Make
Believe"), Betty Comden & Adolph Green/Leonard Bernstein ("Lucky
To Be Me") and Vernon Duke ("Autumn In New York").
At DANNY'S on October 25th there is a $20 cover charge (which includes
a free CD) and a $12 food/drink minimum.
At HELEN'S on November 1st there is a $20 cover charge (which includes
a free CD) and a $15 food/drink minimum.
