JEANNE MACDONALD PRESENTS NEW SHOW AT HELEN'S

Celebrated cabaret performer Jeanne MacDonald brings her NEW SHOW to Chelsea at HELEN'S RESTAURANT, CABARET & PIANO LOUNGE (169 Eighth Avenue, NYC - 212-206-0609 - http://www.helensnyc.com/ ). She will be appearing for six Saturdays at 9:30 pm on October 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd,* 29th & November 5th. The show on the 22nd will be at 11:30 pm, as Jeanne will be appearing earlier that evening in the Cabaret Convention 2005 ROSE HALL at Time Warner Center (Columbus Circle, Broadway at 60th Street, NYC - CenterCharge: 212-721-6500 - http://www.jazzatlincolncenter.org/ ).

When MacDonald debuted this show in September she received standing ovations from the two sold-out audiences in the prestigious Nancy LaMott Room at THE BRADSTAN (Route 17B, White Lake, NY - 845-583-4114 - http://bradstancountryhotel.com/ ). Working with Rick Jensen, her long time award winning musical director/arranger, Jeanne once again features in her show the music of a broad spectrum of composers, including Peggy Lee, Paul Simon, Rodgers & Hammerstein, Cole Porter, Dar Williams, Stevie Wonder, Irving Berlin and Rick Jensen.

There is a $20 cover, $15 food/drink minimum. $15 cover for members of CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE.

Jeanne MacDonald has received numerous awards for her performances, including the 2004 Nightlife and 2004 MAC Awards for Female Vocalist. She has earned both a BACK STAGE Bistro and the MAC Hanson Award, as well as a MAC Nomination for Recording of the Year for her debut CD "Company." It was at the Bradstan Country Hotel that Jeanne developed as an artist, and she has since earned a reputation as one of NY's finest cabaret singers; an honest interpreter of the lyric. MacDonald's latest CD "Live at the Bradstan" was released in 2004 and is available, along with her first CD "Company," at www.cdbaby.com.

A graduate of the Crane School of Music in Potsdam, Jeanne is from Freeport, NY and teaches music northwest of Manhattan, in Orange County, NY.
