The New York Sheet Music Society

), now in its 20th Season, meets the second Saturday afternoon of
each month through June. The 2005-2006 Season got off to a great start
with Sondra & Karen Lynn Gorney & Company in October.
Coming events: On November 12th, "Whiting & Warren," a celebration
of composers Richard Whiting and Harry Warren with the one and only
Margaret Whiting and Julia Riva, granddaughter of Harry Warren, also,
featuring Sheila Weiler and Jeffrey McDonnell; December 10th, "Harold
Arlen Centennial," with Barbara Fasano with John DiMartino on piano
presenting a Arlen show with guest star Eric Comstock; on January
14th, Valerie Lemon sings "The Songs of Jane Froman. More to come.
The meetings take place at WOMEN'S NATIONAL REPUBLICAN CLUB (3 West
51st Street, NYC). There is a Flea Market 12:30 - 1:45 pm (music sheets,
tapes, CD's etc.) Program from 1:45 to 3:30 pm.
Non-member guest fee $10. Membership only $40 per year for 9 great
Programs and a monthly Newsletter.
