AMERICAN THEATER COMPANY ANNOUNCES SPECIAL HOLIDAY CABARET
American Theater Company (ATC) presents 1940s Holiday Radio Spectacular, a one day cabaret event at the AMERICAN THEATER COMPANY (1909 West Byron, Chicago, IL - 773-929-1031 - http://www.ATCweb.org/ ). The performance will take place Tuesday, December 13, 2005 at 7:30 pm.

Featuring classic holiday songs from the golden era of radio, sung by ATC ensemble members and cabaret stars. The show is performed on the set of ATC's holiday classic It's a Wonderful Life: a Live Radio Play and will capture 1940s holiday charm.

This one time event showcases ATC ensemble members, seasoned cabaret stars, and members of Chicago Cabaret Professionals including Master of Ceremonies Ed Kross, fellow ATC Ensemble members Dawn Bach, John Sterchi, and the inimitable John Mohrlein & Suzy Petri. Also featured are pianist and signer Lonie Walker of the Underground Wonder Bar, It's A Wonderful Life: a Live Radio Play cast member Ashley Bishop, ATC Associate Lois Hobart, George Howe and Daryl Nitz direct from their weekly engagement at Davenport's piano bar, and introducing Joshua Holden with his Christmas Tap Dance.

The show is directed by Suzanne Petri with musical direction by Robert Moreen and Philip Caldwell. Tickets are $15.
