CABARAID AND ALL THAT JAZZ IN BOSTON OCTOBER 25th
BACA (Boston Association of Cabaret Artists - http://www.bostoncabaret.com/ ) and the Jazz Travelers present CABARAID AND ALL THAT JAZZ, A Benefit Concert for the hurricane survivors on the Gulf Coast on Tuesday, October 25th at 7:30 pm at LYRIC STAGE (140 Clarendon Street, Boston, MA - 617-437-7172 - http://www.lyricstage.com/ ). BACA, Janine de Souza, the Jazz Travelers, and the Lyric Stage Company are teaming up with many talented local cabaret, jazz and theater performers for a spectacular benefit concert.

Nationally known jazz artist Rebecca Parris will headline a fantastic evening of entertainment. BACA president Jim Keating will host the evening. Scheduled to perform are Laura Brunner, Lynda D'Amour, Brian De Lorenzo, Joe Della Penna (featured accompanist), Kevin Douglass, Pamela Enders, The Jazz Travelers with Janine de Souza, Jim Keating, Julia Madeson, John O'Neil & Jan Peters with Jim Rice on piano, Rebecca Parris, Merle Perkins with Jeffrey Goldberg on piano and the cast of Smokey Joe's Cafe from Turtle Lane Theater.

100% of the proceeds will benefit the following three charities: Habitat for Humanity, a non-profit organization that builds affordable houses in partnership with those who lack adequate shelter; ASPCA Disaster Relief Fund of the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (this fund helps animals impacted by natural disasters); New Orleans Musicians Hurricane Relief Fund, a relief organization established by the Preservation Hall to provide support for displaced musicians.

A raffle of prizes donated from local individuals, businesses, and theaters will be available. Reservations are not required. Donations are payable at the door.

Discounted parking is available at the garage at 100 Clarendon Street. The theater is wheelchair accessible.

$20 suggested donation.
