TORONTO JAZZ TRIO RELEASES NEW CD AT NEW VENUE
The remarkable and creative jazz triumvirate comprised of drummer Lorne Nehring, bassist George Koller and pianist David Braid are releasing their second CD, Set in Stone - The Music of Fred Stone (Effendi Records - FND 058) this December, and are launching the recording with a special performance event on Monday, December 19th, at Toronto's newest jazz boite, THE RED GUITAR ART HOUSE CAFE (603 Markham Street, Toronto, ON, CANADA - 415-913-4586 - http://www.theredguitar.com/ ). Performances will begin at 9:00, followed by a second set at 10:30 pm.

Nehring/Koller and Braid have been performing together as an integral part of the Toronto jazz scene for the past five years. Lorne Nehring, George Koller and David Braid continue their mandate of progressive and expressive jazz, drawing from jazz "standards" and experimental compositions.

Their current release, Set in Stone - The Music of Fred Stone is no doubt their most envelope-pushing project to date, and therefore a perfect fit as a debut project for the mind-expanding Quebec-based record label, Effendi Records.

The fabulous and funky "Red Guitar Art House Cafe" is a fully licensed gourmet restaurant, located in a gorgeously restored 1922 Edwardian home, in the "Mirvish Village" section of Toronto.

Call the club for cover/minimum information.
