AUCTION BENEFIT FOR THE DIABLO VALLEY AIDS CENTER
The
Diablo Valley AIDS Center will hold its premiere wine auction fundraiser,
the Diablo Valley Wine Auction, at the prestigious BLACKHAWK COUNTRY
CLUB (599 Blackhawk Club Drive, Danville, CA - Tkts: 925-265-4018

) on Saturday, November 13th at 6:00 pm. The event features a champagne
reception and silent auction, along with an elegant dinner, wonderful
entertainment and a live auction with many collectible wines and wine
experience packages from the Napa, Sonoma and Livermore wine-growing
regions. Dress is semi-formal. Tickets are $150.00 per person
Acclaimed
Bay Area comedian, Bob Sarlatte, will be on hand to emcee the event
and entertain the guests. The dinner show will be presented by San
Francisco/Bay Area "Entertainer of the Year" Terese Genecco along
with The Kitchenettes, (Linda Kosut and Lua Hadar) with musical director
Barry Lloyd.
Auction lots
include wine from Screaming Eagle, Harlan Estate, Pahlmeyer, Opus
One, Viader and an exciting "Cult Contenders" lot with six bottles
of wine from some of the Napa Valley's top winemakers: Randy Dunn,
Heidi Barrett, Thomas Brown and Marco Digiulio.
The fundraising
event will help support the only food distribution and nutrition education
center serving the low-income HIV and AIDS population in Contra Costa
County. Approximately one quarter of those served by the Diablo Valley
AIDS Center are dependent children whose parents are living with the
disease. Corporate sponsors include Wells Fargo Investments, Diablo
Publications, Brookwood Realty, and Golden Horizon Mortgage.
