POLISH DIVA MAKES HOMETOWN DEBUT

The show "Polish Diva from Milwaukee" is finally making it's hometown debut. It will be performed at a brand new 700 seat theater on Milwaukee's Northwest Side and the show will also mark the public premiere of the HANSEN THEATRE (4257 North 100th Street, Milwaukee, WI - 414-616-2813). After performing her one-woman show all over the country, Soprano/Comedienne Terry Palasz, an opera trained, polka dancing, mountain climbing, soprano comedienne, finally brings her hilariously entertaining show The Polish Diva from Milwaukee, to her Milwaukee hometown for a one-night benefit performance on Friday, October 15th, at 8:00 pm. She is joined by nationally known pianist/composer Scott Warrender (Das Barbecu) and Seattle accordionist Toby Hanson. Tickets: $20

The show originated at the CREPE DE PARIS RESTAURANT (1333 Fifth Avenue, Seattle, WA - 206-623-4111) and has since gone on to successful runs in New York City (with MAC winner Lennie Watts as director), Rochester, NY, Ashland and Portland, Oregon, and many areas of the Midwest. Ms. Palasz was CABARET HOTLINE ONLINE'S pick for Best Female Musical Sketch Comedy Artist in 2001. She plans on producing her first polka CD next year: The Polish Diva's Polka Party.

This one-night only performance with be premiered at the brand new Hansen Fine Arts Theatre at Divine Savior-Holy Angels High School. This is a benefit for the DSHA scholarship fund.
