CABARET SERIES IN CHICAGO
ANNOUNCES SPRING 2004 SEASON

PACY PRODUCTIONS has announced its Spring 2004 Cabaret Series, presented
on Wednesdays in April through June, at DAVENPORT'S (1383 North Milwaukee
Avenue, Chicago, IL - RESV: 312-458-0850 - http://www.davenportspianobar.com/
). A five-course luncheon, catered by Gaper's Caterers, is available
prior to each performance, at 12:30 pm. Showtime is 1:30 pm. Reservations
for luncheon plus show must be made in advance, and are available
for $35. Show-only seats are $18.
April features
"Nobody Does It Like Me", a program to tickle the funny bone and nudge
the nostalgia button. The world of classical music is lovingly teased
by award-winning actress/comedienne Sharon Carlson, who has delighted
audiences from Las Vegas to Milwaukee with her contagiously funny
satires. Shows on the 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th of April.
May brings
"Movers and Shakers", a tribute to the songs and dance men of the
30s and 40s, when top hat, white tie, and tails were the symbols of
elegance. Reminiscent of the days of Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly,
Tony Gibson entrances the audience with his smooth voice and magical
feet. Shows in the 5th, 12th, 19th & 26th of May.
June stars
an encore performance of Spider Saloff's "The Memory of All That",
a Gershwin Brothers tribute. Ms. Saloff is an internationally recognized
recording artist, and is a five-time recipient of the prestigious
MAC award. She is also recognized as one of the foremost interpreters
of the Gershwins' music worldwide. Shows on the 9th, 16th, 23rd &
30th of June.
