Marieann Meringolo Opens Inaugural Season at Helen's

Multi-award winning jazz/pop artist Marieann Meringolo kicks off the official inaugural season at the HELEN'S RESTAURANT, CABARET & PIANO LOUNGE (169 Eighth Avenue, NYC - 212-206-0609) where she will perform on Fridays and Saturdays in September at 9:15 pm with her all new show, "This Is My Time," songs that inspire her.İMarieann will sing songs byİpopular standard and contemporary composers.İShe will also pay tribute to Peggy Lee. Doyle Newmyer will be musical director with John Loehrke on bass.İA full dinner menu is available before the show. Dinner seating begins at 8:30 pm. There is a $15 cover, $15 food/drink minimum.

Marieann Meringolo's new CD, "Imagine... If We Only Have Love" has received unanimous critical acclaim. It was honored by Back Stage and the MAC (Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs - http://www.macnyc.com/ ) as Outstanding CD of 2004, resulting in a sold out engagement at THE DUPLEX CABARET THEATER.İ Marieann has also performed in major venues including, Joe's Pub, Town Hall, The Russian Tea Room and the Hammerstein Ballroom.
