NANCY McGRAW CINEMA SONGS SHOW EXTENDED

Nancy McGraw brings her new cabaret show "Cinema Songs" to DANNY'S SKYLIGHT ROOM (346 West 46th Street, NYC - 1-212-265-8133 - http://www.dannysgrandseapalace.com/ ). The show features songs from or about the movies. Extended dates are on Thursday, June 3rd at 7:00 pm with pianist Paul Greenwood, and on Tuesday, June 8th at 7:00 pm with Tedd Firth at the piano. The show is directed by Thommie Walsh. There is a $10 cover charge and $10 minimum for food and drinks.

Harry Haun ("Cinematic Century", Playbill) and Charles Nelson (People Magazine) inspired the show, and shared their vast collection of movie songs with Ms. McGraw. These "Cinema Songs" are either from the movies, about the movies, or about our relationship to the movies. They were written by Lynn Ahrens, Harold Arlen, Alan and Marilyn Bergman, Francesca Blumenthal, Louis Yule Brown, Sammy Cahn, Gene De Paul, Stephen Flaherty, George Forrest, Norman Gimbel, Mack Gordon, Johnny Green, Yip Harburg, Jerry Herman, Rupert Holmes, Frank Lazarus, Henry Mancini, Lil Mattis, Amanda McBroom, Johnny Mercer, Don Raye, Harry Revel, Leo Robin, David Shire, James Van Heusen, Dick Vosburgh, Harry Warren, and Robert Wright.
