Celebrated
Jazz Singer, Martha Lorin, returns to MAMA ROSE'S (219 Second Avenue,
NYC - 212-533-0558 - http://www.mamaroses.net/
) for four special shows on Tuesdays, April 13th, 20th & 27th and
May 4th, all shows at 7:00 pm. Musical direction will be by Russ Kassoff
with Jay Leonhart (4/13 & 4/20) or Cameron Brown (4/27 & 5/4) on bass.
There is a $15 cover, 2-drink minimum.
Having received
rave reviews from critics from New York to LA, Martha will bring to
these shows her glorious alto jazz belt for what will surely be an
enjoyable evening. The show will feature classics like "What I Did
For Love," "New York, New York," "Satin Doll," songs from her forthcoming
CD "Blues Over Broadway," recorded in Chicago and New York and co-produced
by Russ Kassoff.
