Claudia Hommel is best known for her cabaret concerts of French and American songs celebrating Paris, a theme she has developed in her recordings Paris/Paree, Paris in the Jazz Age and her latest, Romance Language. A favorite from the Club at Chicago Symphony Center to the Museum of Montmartre in Paris. Born in Paris, France and raised in Detroit, Hommel has led an active career as a theatrical singer in New York and the Midwest. Her repertoire encompasses French chanson, American standards, 19th and 20th century art songs and theatre music.

After more than 40 years as a studio musician playing primarily bass, Johnny Frigo emerged from the shadows at the age of 70 to become one of the world's greatest jazz violinists. Honored with several awards, among them a Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Federation of Musicians and Downbeat's International Critics honor roll for Best Violin, he is often featured at the Chicago and North Sea Jazz Festivals and other international venues.

The Metropolis Performing Arts Centre, conveniently located at the intersection of Campbell and Vail Avenues in downtown Arlington Heights, is a fantastic venue to hear live music.
