HOBOKEN CABARET FESTIVAL - ONE NIGHT ONLY CONCERT

Phil Geoffrey Bond has announced plans for the first ever HOBOKEN CABARET FESTIVAL to be held on Friday, March 5th at 8:00 pm at THE DEBAUN AUDITORIUM (5th & Hudson Streets, Hoboken, NJ - 201-216-8937 - http://www.debaun.org/tickets.html). Included in the line-up of performers are Lisa Asher, Judy Barnett, Bobby Belfry, Joanne Beretta, Scott Coulter, Brandon Cutrell, Barbara Fasano, Jim Gavin, Julie Gold, Carol Hall, Amanda Green, David Gurland, Rick Jensen, Audrey Lavine, Lynn Lobban, Jeanne MacDonald, Marieann Meringolo, Carolyn Montgomery, Julie Reyburn, Ruby Rims, Ric Ryder, Anne Runolfsson, Marcus Simeone and Lennie Watts. Tickets: $12 for adults and $8 for students and seniors.

The art of New York cabaret comes to Hoboken when The Center for the Performing Arts at DeBaun Auditorium presents the Hoboken Cabaret Festival as part of its Music Series. The event will feature 24 of New York's most prominent cabaret performers. In addition to the concert, awards will be presented to two people who have contributed magnanimously to the world of cabaret.

The Duplex Cabaret Theatre Award for New Composers will be presented to Steve Marzullo.

The Blue Angel Award for outstanding contributions to the art of cabaret will be presented to John Wallowitch. The award is named for the famous nightclub, which was the leading force in cabaret in the 40s and 50s.
